Friday 29th Jan marked the official opening of the ArtistsWorkhouse and wow what a fabulous evening it was.
Many congratulations to the resident artists who presented a diverse show of quality art in this inaugural show AWE 1. During the launch visitors were also treated to a rare look behind the scenes into the creative studio spaces where I heard many inspirational conversations taking place.
Our launch event also hosted the inaugural gig by ‘The Sitting Room’, I do hope we will have the pleasure of them performing at the Workhouse again.
A very big thank you to all who came to see us on a very stormy Friday evening and have continued to visit during the course of the weekend. Your continued support and encouragement is inspiring, we are now excited to be planning several new projects to share with you over the coming months.
